The United stopper has declared that he finds Barcelona's playing style aesthetically-pleasing.
"They’ve played really open, attacking football and have scored a lot of goals.
"It’s a prestige final and, as players, to be up against a club with the history of Barcelona is the stuff of dreams,” Ferdinand continued.
"You just hope you can be part of a successful team that plays in a great final."
The Champions League final is to be staged on Wednesday May 27 in Rome. Both competing teams won their respective leagues on Saturday.
Manchester United's roaming centre-half Rio Ferdinand has confirmed that he, along with many other spectators, has enjoyed watching Champions League final opponents Barcelona this season, hailing their fluent attacking style.
