Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo showed his humility by claiming opponents are NOT out to get him.
Ronaldo is the most fouled player in the Premier League and was manhandled by Newcastle's Steven Taylor in Wednesday's 2-1 win.
But he gives his tormentors the benefit of any doubt, saying: "On the pitch I'm a target for defenders, so it's difficult to avoid certain things. I've never had any serious problems.

"I don't agree when people say that to stop United, you only need to stop Cristiano. I don't like it when people say that."
And the World Player of the Year is hungry for more accolades. "I don't like to relax," he said. "I have to continue winning awards and trophies because I'm still young. I'm at a club that gives me a guarantee to win titles and trophies."
