Nicky Butt has warned his Newcastle United team-mates - we have to start winning fast or we will go down.
Skipper Butt has known the pain of relegation with Birmingham and that feeling is coming on again with his old club Manchester United poised to pile on the agony.
Newcastle face the league leaders at home tomorrow, and also host Chelsea and Arsenal soon. Former Old Trafford star Butt said: "We definitely need to take something from those games now.
"Our situation is getting more and more serious as the weeks go by. Now it's time to try to make amends quickly.

"Anyone thinking we're going to be OK is in danger of getting bitten on the bum.
"We're down there near the bottom. If we didn't think we were in the fight before Saturday's defeat at Bolton, then we know that we definitely are now."
Butt, who hopes to overcome a knee injury that forced him off at the weekend, said: "It could not be any tougher. United are probably the best team in the world at the moment.
"It's a very difficult game for us. We could play out of our skins and still come away with nothing - that's how good United are."
