Real Madrid Legend Zinedine Zidane Praises Son Enzo

Real Madrid’s legendary Frenchman, Zinedine Zidane, has spoken for the first time about the footballing career of his son, Enzo.

Reports had emerged last week that the 14-year-old could opt to play for Spain rather than France in the junior national team. While Zinedine did not shed any further light as to his son’s future decision, he had full encouragement for the youngster.

“Enzo knows perfectly what it means to carry the ‘Zidane’ last name,” he said on the Canal+ program, ‘Des Specialistes’.

“It is something that he cannot escape but he is well aware of that. One thing is clear… I know that he does not have square feet.”

Videos of Enzo in action for Real Madrid’s U-15 side have already emerged on the internet and there are striking similarities between father and son’s playing style and quality.

Zinedine’s two other sons, Luca and Theo, are also part of Real Madrid Infantil’s B team.
