Kevin Nolan has revealed his hurt at being offloaded by Bolton to Newcastle.
Nolan, 26, admits he was stunned to learn Toon's £4m bid had been accepted after spending 12 years at the club he joined as a kid.
The ex-skipper claims he was happy at the Reebok and says Bolton left him with no choice but to move.

"I was a bit shocked when my agent told me Newcastle had been on and that Bolton were negotiating," said Nolan.
"I was disappointed that the club were prepared to sell me. I saw myself being at Bolton for many more years, but this might be something I needed."
