Defender Anthony Gardner would be gutted if his old club Tottenham were relegated.
Spurs are fighting for their Premier League lives going into tonight's clash with Hull and Gardner-now at the Tigers - says he is stunned to see them in such deep trouble.
The centre-half moved to the KC Stadium for £2.5million in the summer and is backing Harry Redknapp to keep his side up.
"I'd be sad if a team like Spurs were relegated," said Gardner. "I had some happy days there.

"The Premier League needs a team like Spurs, although I won't be that sorry if we win and take three points off them. I'm very shocked at where they are in the league. They've immense quality.
But if Harry's not the man to turn things round, then I don't know who is."
