Manchester United's players believe they can surpass the club's treble-winning heroes of 1999 and clinch an unprecedented quadruple this season.
Sir Alex Ferguson has played down talk of a clean sweep of the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup this season - despite United being in a great position to win all four trophies.
But assistant boss Mike Phelan revealed there is a real belief among the players that the chance to write a new chapter in the club's illustrious history is within their grasp.
"Everybody wants the four trophies but it's never been done," said Phelan.
"It is obviously difficult and we are just happy to be in it at the moment, getting nearer to the finishing line in every competition.

"The club has been built to sustain challenges in four competitions."
United face Spurs in next month's Carling Cup final and take on Derby on Sunday for a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
They're in the last 16 of the Champions League, and can go five points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League if they win the game in hand over Liverpool.
