"(Hiddink) arrived at the training ground shortly before 1pm when he was greeted by (chief executive) Peter Kenyon," said the club's website (www.chelseafc.com).
"The pair took a tour of the main building and met some of the players in the treatment room."

Hiddink will not officially take over until Monday but is expected to be at Chelsea's FA Cup fifth round tie at Championship (second division) Watford on Saturday.
Assistant manager Ray Wilkins, who took over on a temporary basis when Scolari was sacked on Monday, will be in charge at Watford.
Chelsea's website said club owner Roman Abramovich was also at the training ground to meet the 62-year-old Hiddink.
