Carlos Tevez's agents want him to sign for Manchester City - to spite Manchester United.
The Argentine striker's advisers are free to negotiate his next move, with the £30million fee to be paid to his owners rather than a club. And they are keen on a switch between the local rivals.
Tevez's main man Kia Joorabchian is interested in the City option because of the big money on offer at Eastlands - and the chance to prove Sir Alex Ferguson and United wrong.
Liverpool and Tottenham would also like Tevez, but they know they are behind City in the queue.

City boss Mark Hughes was initially against the move but has now been won round.
Tevez is a similar player to Craig Bellamy and Robinho, so the signing would push one of them down City's pecking order.
City are also being linked with a £10m move for Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry, who has a year left on his contract.
Again they face a tussle with both Liverpool and Spurs.
