England defenders Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole missed Monday's training session as a precaution ahead of the trip to Kazakhstan for Saturday's World Cup qualifier.
Chelsea left-back Cole suffered a knock during the FA Cup final win over Everton on Saturday, while Ferdinand rested as a result of the calf problem he had before Manchester United's Champions League final defeat to Barcelona.
England coach Fabio Capello hopes both players will train in the next few days to prove their fitness in preparation for the match in Almaty, then the Wembley encounter with Andorra next week.
All the other members of Capello's squad trained at Arsenal's London Colney base, with James Milner joining the squad to replace United midfielder Michael Carrick.

David Beckham, Frank Lampard, John Terry and Joleon Lescott, who all played at the weekend, separated from the rest to the group to do running exercises on their own during Monday's session. Capello is already without goalkeepers David James and Ben Foster, who were ruled out of the squad through injury.
