Chelsea star John Terry vowed to focus on his football today after his mum and mother-in-law were cautioned by police for alleged shoplifting.
Sue Terry, 50, and Sue Poole, 54, were accused of stealing £800 of clothes and food from Marks & Spencer and Tesco in Weybridge, Surrey.
Chelsea and England star Terry, 28, is understood to have bought both women homes in Oxshott, Surrey, where he lives with his wife and children.
Today he said: "I've got experience of seeing many headlines. As a player you get on with it. It's a family issue that the solicitors are dealing with.

"I'm still concentrating on my football like I was this morning in training. It doesn't effect myself or the players and that's the main thing so I go into tomorrow's game focussed."
Last night a Surrey police spokesman said:" Officers arrested two women aged 50 and 54 on suspicion of theft. The women were interviewed and have been cautioned for the offences.
A caution represents an admission of guilt and is part of a criminal record."
But Terry's lawyer Angus McBride said both women were innocent and would be taking action to clear their names." They didn't do anything wrong," he said," they weren't aware they were admitting guilt."
