Martin O'Neill will speak to Fabio Capello this weekend to ensure Aston Villa's England stars avoid any burn-out.
England boss Capello names his squad on Saturday for next week's friendly in Spain.

O'Neill, whose side host Doncaster tonight in an FA Cup replay, said: "I hope the England manager would be mindful the players have played a lot of games.
"If you build a decent relationship with club and country then that shouldn't be a major problem - certainly for friendly games.
"We have important assets to England. I think he would be pretty amenable."
O'Neill plans to rest some of Villa's key players tonight ahead of Saturday's league clash with Blackburn but fit-again John Carew should start.
