The Italian hitman is set to get the nod and the wink from Marcello Lippi for tonight's Confederations Cup match against Egypt.
Italy ace Giuseppe Rossi will be rewarded for his performance against the USA after Marcello Lippi picked him to start for tonight's game against Egypt.
Rossi bagged a brace to help stage a remarkable comeback against the USA on Monday after the Italians went a goal down. He is now set to begin at the Ellis Park stadium in Johannesburg.
The Italians can qualify for the semi-finals by beating the Egyptians. According to Sky Sport Italia, the following team will line up against Hassan Shehata's men.

Italy team to play Egypt: (4-3-3) Buffon, Grosso, Chiellini, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, De Rossi, Pirlo, Gattuso, Quagliarella, Rossi, Iaquinta.
The new line up means Lippi has made three changes compared to the side which started against the Americans.
Fabio Cannavaro replaces Nicola Legrottaglie, Fabio Quagliarella takes Mauro Camoranesi's place and Rossi starts instead of Alberto Gilardino.
