All or Nothing for Determined Čech

Goalkeeper Petr Čech is clear that a job half done is worth nothing at all as Chelsea FC look to ensure that their goalless draw against FC Barcelona in the first leg of their semi-final at the Camp Nou is made to count with victory at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

New territory
"We are in a rare situation because we've played Barça many times before and it's the first time we've returned to Stamford Bridge with neither team having scored in the first game," said the 26-year-old. "So it's new territory for both teams and the tie is still balanced at 50-50, because while we can certainly reproduce the same pressure on the ball we achieved there, plus score, they are the best attacking force in the world. Our organisation [in the first leg] was absolutely great and we need to reproduce that."

'Superb' Bosingwa
Nominated as man of the match for a string of fine saves, including crucial stops from Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o, Bojan Krkić and Aleksandr Hleb, Čech felt the role José Bosingwa played was slightly undervalued: "John Terry got a lot of praise, so did I, but I think José was playing his first top-level game at left-back and against Lionel Messi too. He did superbly and it was a top-class team performance.

Attacking philosophy
"We got some degree of reward for the team display, but it would have been better to have scored," continued the Czech international. "That means that although it is very difficult for any team to come to Stamford Bridge and win, Barça can still advance with a score draw. They are a team which wants to attack and play to win all the time so I think they won't change their game plan."
