Carlos Tevez last night opened the door to a move from Manchester United to their bitter rivals Manchester City.
Tevez fears his time at Old Trafford is coming to an end as the club refuse to open talks over extending his two-year loan and have shown no interest in making his signing permanent.
Tevez's agent, Kia Joorabchian, indicated the striker would be willing to switch to City - who have made preliminary inquiries - although no decision would be made until the end of the season.
City's huge financial muscle means they would be able to meet the £32million asking price, a valuation United appear to think is too high for Tevez.
Advertisement - article continues below »"There's a lot of interest in Carlos and his preference is to stay in England," said Joorabchian.
"Carlos feels there's a very big chance his time is coming to an end at United and it's time to move on.
"But I don't want to say Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Arsenal or any other club."
