Despite being subbed off midway through the second half, Didier Drogba was amongst the first people to reach the referee and question his motives after the final whistle was blown.

Barcelona snuck past Chelsea to punch their ticket to the Champions League final in Rome in a highly controversial encounter at Stamford Bridge. Decisions made during the game could have proved pivotal to the success of both teams, but Drogba felt Chelsea were more hard done by as the referee waved away several penalty claims.

The Ivorian was so furious with the decisions made by Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo that he angrily confronted the official, pointing fingers in his face and stating that he was a disgrace.

AFP London has reported that Drogba's antics could earn him a lengthy ban from European football, claiming that controversial decisions will not be brought into question regarding the awful behaviour of a professional footballer.

Further adding to the list of indiscretions, the 31-year-old screamed into a nearby television camera screaming that the whole scenario was a "f**king disgrace", another thing that UEFA will take into consideration when deciding the striker's fate.
